Emily joined the Koret Shelter Medicine Program in 2022 and provides high level administrative support to the team. Prior to working for KSMP, Emily managed the Intake team at an animal shelter in Denver, where she developed and implemented numerous departmental standards and systems and maintained daily operations at the facility.

Emily graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a major in Sociology. A Colorado native, Emily enjoys spending time hiking, running, and exploring the outdoors. Emily also enjoys reading, live music, and spending time with her husband, Gregg, her dog, Biscuit, and her two cats, Charlie and Meesh.
